So, after communicating with a few folks -- we've decided to present this to you, the LBLB. The following vote is for the following trade:
Los Angeles Dodgers Receive:
LF Julio Morales
1B Juan Gabriel
Approximately $123 million in salary relief
San Francisco Giants Receive:
RF Giancarlo Stanton
2B David Weaver (AAA)

That's the easy part. Now, for the complicated stuff. The league rules state that a player's contract can only be involved in a trade for 2 years, and a maximum of 80% of the contract being paid by the former team. But I propose, for this trade, is a one-time alteration of this rule. If 2 years at 80% was done, the totally relief is $44.8 million. This addendum actually makes salary relief for the Dodgers closer to $123 mil. The Rules also state that a contract dump is a no-no. And the answer to that, is 2 mid-level prospects and an argument against the "Salary Dump" move. The current LA GM inherited a contract that everyone seemingly lauded as being "Wow, too much". Is it realistic? In a way, sure. But we also play this game to have certain levels of competition and fun. We've kept a great line between being arcade-y and being competitive, I don't think this would harm a thing in the long-run, especially with the presentation to you, the general LBLB public. If accepted, this trade will go through at the start of the 2023 off-season. If denied, the trade will simply have been a waste of time of me writing it, and you reading it. No harm, no foul.
The following would be a breakdown of the amount of money, per year, the Dodgers would eat in order to send him to the Giants.
2023 - 60%
2024 - 60%
2025 - 50%
2026 - 50%
2027 - 40%
2028 - 0%
2029 - 0%
The following represents the amount of money the San Francisco Giants would pay each year for RF Giancarlo Stanton, the rest (in paranethesis) is being handled by the Dodgers.
2023 - $11,200,000 ($16,800,000)
2024 - $11,200,000 ($16,800,000)
2025 - $14,000,000 ($14,000,000)
2026 - $14,000,000 ($14,000,000)
2027 - $16,800,000 ($11,200,000)
2028 - $28,000,000 (0)
2029 - $28,000,000 (0)
